Concept and Design

Jobs is an innovative executive system of desks, cabinets and meeting tables designed by Rodolfo Dordoni. It is the result of close reflection on the evolution of behaviour in relation to new technologies and a careful selection of materials, which enrich the different volumes with sober elegance and mark, also stylistically, the different work areas.

The Jobs meeting table by Poltrona Frau is designed to shape meeting rooms and boardrooms where image, functionality, and spatial quality play a decisive role. Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, it belongs to a complete executive system that interprets the contemporary world of work with understated elegance, integrating refined materials, technological solutions, and strong compositional clarity. It is an ideal solution for those who view the meeting table not simply as an operational support, but as the center of a space where ideas are shared, decisions are made, and professional relationships are built.

Its configuration makes it particularly suitable for executive meeting rooms where representation is as important as efficiency. In these environments, the table needs to accommodate strategic meetings, presentations, confidential discussions, exchanges between partners, and high-level decision-making moments. The Jobs meeting table responds very well to this need because it combines an institutional presence with a design carefully developed around the practical requirements of the contemporary office, such as cable routing and organized cable management, generous work surfaces, and the possibility of selecting very different configurations in terms of size and layout.

It is a particularly compelling choice for companies and professional firms that want to move beyond the anonymous appearance of the traditional meeting room. In many corporate environments, the meeting table is still treated as a purely technical element; here, instead, it becomes an active part of the space’s identity. Leather, oak, and steel create a refined yet rigorous language, perfect for environments that want to convey competence, solidity, and attention to detail. In a boardroom, executive meeting room, corporate headquarters, or high-level professional partnership, the table immediately helps establish the tone of the professional relationship.

The wide range of available sizes makes it suitable for those designing meeting rooms of different scales, from more intimate settings to large tables for numerous participants. This makes it possible to envision the product both in offices with a strong culture of internal meetings and in environments dedicated to receiving clients, stakeholders, investors, or international partners. In every case, the objective remains the same: to create an orderly, authoritative, and technically resolved space in which the quality of the table supports the quality of the meeting.

A central aspect is its ability to meet the needs of those who must integrate technology and cabling without compromising the elegance of the environment. Today, a meeting room often needs to accommodate laptops, presentation systems, power connections, network connections, and technological accessories. The Jobs meeting table addresses this issue in a way that is highly consistent with its design, thanks to a central section developed for cable management and various accessory configurations that help keep the work surface clean and visually controlled. For those who work in representative spaces, this is an important advantage: technology remains present, but does not interfere with the visual quality of the setting.

The table is also ideal for professional spaces where hospitality and decision-making come together, such as conference rooms, presidential offices with integrated meeting areas, premium corporate headquarters, or contract environments designed for high-level professional relationships. In these settings, the table helps make the room more consistent with the brand’s culture, more credible in the eyes of guests, and more pleasant for those who use it every day. It is not a neutral element: it structures behavior, organizes the setting, and contributes to the perception of reliability of the entire environment.

From a design perspective, the Jobs meeting table is especially suitable for those seeking aesthetic continuity between desks, storage units, and meeting tables, perhaps within the same collection or the same office design language. This makes it particularly valuable for architects, interior designers, and companies that want to create coordinated executive environments where every piece of furniture reinforces overall coherence. In a carefully balanced project, the meeting table does not exist in isolation, but interacts with the surrounding environment and becomes one of the strongest expressions of its identity.

For high-end contract environments, the Jobs meeting table represents an excellent solution for contemporary boardrooms, strategy rooms, leadership spaces, and settings for institutional discussions. Here, its presence helps create an environment capable of combining rigor and hospitality, technical precision and material refinement. It is the kind of table that supports the practical function of a meeting while simultaneously elevating the perceived quality of the entire space.

The Jobs meeting table by Poltrona Frau is therefore an ideal choice for executive meeting rooms, representative boardrooms, premium corporate headquarters, high-level professional partnerships, and all those environments where the table must live up not only to the activities it hosts, but also to the image that the company or professional wishes to convey.
